Syracuse University was established in 1870 as a private institution, which is located in Syracuse, New York. It has a total enrollment of 19,084 students, 10% of whom are from foreign countries. The university comprises of the following schools/colleges: Architecture, Education, Information Studies, Public Communications, Citizenship and Public Affairs, Management, Arts and Sciences, Engineering and Computer Science, Law, Visual and Performing Arts, Human Ecology, University College, Medicine, and Environmental Science and Forestry.
