The University of Colorado established an extension division in Denver in 1912. The University of Colorado Denver is located in the heart of downtown at Speer Boulevard and Auraria Parkway and at Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. Around 15,000 students are currently enrolled at downtown Denver and Health Sciences Center. The university offers bachelor's, master's, doctoral and first professional degrees through different schools, namely, School of Dental Medicine, Graduate School, School of Medicine, School of Nursing and School of Pharmacy.
