Mississippi University for Women is a public university that was founded in 1884. It is located in Columbus, Mississippi. It has five colleges that feature more than 50 majors and concentrations. The colleges are the College of Business and Legal Studies, College of Education and Human Sciences, College of Nursing and Speech Language Pathology, College of Arts and Sciences and the Culinary Arts Institute. It confers undergraduate, graduate, executive and pre-professional degrees in areas such as accounting, business, biology, nursing, education, languages & philosophy, etc.
