Founded in 1860, the New York Medical College is the largest private health sciences university in Westchester County, New York. It has a student body of over 1,600. The university awards the MD, Master of Science, Master of Public Health and doctoral degrees in 36 program areas. It comprises of the School of Medicine, the School of Public Health and the School of Basic Medical Sciences. It also provides residencies and fellowships in more than 85 fully accredited Graduate Medical Education programs.
