North Carolina A&T State University is located in Greensboro, North Carolina. It is a historically black university that was established in 1891. North Carolina comprises of 6 Schools, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences; Business and Economics; Education; Technology; Graduate Studies; and Nursing, and 2 Colleges, Engineering and College of Arts and Science, that house the different departments of the university. The school of Graduate Studies offers several MS degrees; the MA degree in the specialized field of English - African- American Literature; and the MSW degree in Social Work.
