Northern State University, established in 1901 is located in Aberdeen, South Dakota. It serves more than 2,200 students. The university offers several majors, minors, associate, preprofessional and graduate degrees. The various programs are offered through the Center of Excellence in International Business, Center for Statewide E-Learning, College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Education, School of Fine Arts, University College and Graduate Program. Its pre-professional and professional programs lead to the bachelor of arts, bachelor of science, bachelor of science in education and bachelor of music education degrees.
