Washington College, located at Chestertown in Maryland's Eastern Shore, was established in 1782 by George Washington. This was the first College licensed in America. It is a private institution, ranking among the country’s top 100 liberal arts’ Colleges. This College has 1,200 undergraduates from 35 states and 40 countries. It offers bachelors and masters degrees in Anthropology, Computer Science, Economics, Philosophy, Psychology, and Sociology among others. It provides more than 40 study abroad programs.
